Scripture of the Day - October 8, 2012

Matthew 24:38  For as in the days that were before the flood they were eating and drinking, marrying and giving in marriage, until the day that Noe entered into the ark,
39  And knew not until the flood came, and took them all away; so shall also the coming of the Son of man be.

God never changes. The Bible tells us that Jesus Christ is the same yesterday today and forever. Well, it looks like people don't change either. They rejected God right up to the flood in the days of Noah, They rejected Jesus when he came to them as their Messiah, even to the point of crucifying Him. And today people still reject Him...even those who claim to be Christian. That's a strong statement but Jesus said it stronger. Luke 11:23  He that is not with me is against me: and he that gathereth not with me scattereth. John 14:15  If ye love me, keep my commandments.
You show your love by your actions, You can make all the claims in the world but your actions show what you really think. Do you keep the commandments of Jesus? Or have your reasoned away some of them? Will He weep over you when He returns or will He say "well done my good and faithful servant"?
